The eagle was the first doodle that I actually finished, in honor of my dad. I then created the elephant for my mom, and just kept going from there.
Many of my earlier images had a tribal feel, and were heavily influenced by my home on the West coast of Canada. Recently, I have started to dabble with color, and my images have become more whimsical.
All of my images are available as notecards, greeting cards, on canvas, or as framed prints. I am always working on new things, and am open to requests! Check back frequently for updates...
My drawings typically start out as doodles on paper. Once they take shape, they are scanned into a digital format, and then the finishing touches are added.
I enjoy spending time outdoors, and many of my pieces are directly influenced by nature. I am in awe of the amazing creatures that inhabit the earth, from the powerful humpback Whale to the delicate butterfly. My favorite place to be is by the ocean, watching eagles soar.
To me, nature is magical.
